HDTV DVD Recorder Help Can't Post

Ok earlier today I purchased a DVD Recorder. With my cable box, it said to run a 75 Coaxial Cable from the RF Out on the DVD Recorder to the VHF/UHF RF In on my TV. On the TV I have there is no VHF/UHF RF In so instead I plugged it into the Cable Ù75 plug. Usually, when I watch TV I have it set on "Component 1" but since I hooked up the DVD Recorder I had to have it set on "Video 1" for me to be able to record. When I switch it from Component 1 to Video 1..it seems like the quality gets a little worse, but I don't know why. I heard getting component cables will help, but I want to see if there are any other possible solutions. Please help me ASAP, because I am really interested in recording something for tomorrow night and will need to go to Best Buy and such to purchase whatever I need. Thank youSmile
The TV I have is:
http://www.bestbuy.com/...amp;id=1134703573897
and the DVD Recorder is:
http://www.bestbuy.com/...amp;id=1134703757971
Thank you and please help.

Component video cables out from recorder into the HD tv will work to play what is recorded in the DVD recorder.
