HD LCD TV Pic blackout - Power line noise? Can't Post

Why does my HD LCD picture temporarily blackout when the thermostat clicks on, or when someone turns off the ceiling fan, or someone uses the indoor Ice/Water dispenser on our refrigerator? I am using a power strip with what I thought was surge protection. Is there some other line noise that I need to filter out? Please share your thoughts... Dont want to harm my new 42" TV, and I am tired of intermittent black screen flashing in and out! Thanks.

Try it at your neighbor's. If still does it return it before the warranty runs out!Cool

Perhaps you have one source power line of your whole house. You don't need no filtration such as power surge protector. You got to have separate switch box on area where most equipment in your house connected, so each won't starve....LOL.
