How to test tv Can't Post

Is there any way to know if my tv is producing true 1080i resolution? Because i hear some tvs use a weaving method that results in 1920x 540p. Cool

o yea forgot to say it has an HDMI output but its 1080i so i would also know what the deal with that is.

thanks for your time people :)

First, be very sure that your tv is HDTV capable. There's no actual instrument for that test. however, that weaving methods that results 1920 x 540p can be even higher if signals are supported by your tv. Most likely the case are connecting it to a pc computer. A good example for that are the APPLE MONITORS/computers.
A tv with hdmi output? (never heard),Well if there's such thing in consumer standards are actually can be use only in daisy chain or multiple monitors side by side applications.
