Lease or buy? Can't Post

Hey, just been considering upgrading my satellite receiver to HD now that I have a TV that is capable of HD. I am currently leasing my equipment from Direct TV. I am just wondering if it would make more sense to buy my own receiver. Direct TV told me they wanted $299 a month just to upgrade to a HD DVR. Thats crazy!

Thanks,
Scott

I was actually checking out some HD DVRs on ebay, and the ones that are new are very expensive. Then I called Direct TV and they told me that they sell new ones for $799. I would hope for that price that I would own it! So anyone know about a good deal on a HD DVR for direct tv or dish?
