Question about future Analog to HD switch Can't Post

I received this question today and was not sure of the answer.. Let me know your feedback.

Grandpa has a camper trailer with a TV in it and wants to use the house antenna on his trailer to receive the primary stations on that television. His concern is that if TV switches from analog to high definition, he won't be able to use an antenna to pick a primary station signal in his camper. He wants to know if there is any truth in that because he doesn't want to drill the holes in his camper to install the antenna if its going to be obsolete in a couple of years.

Re: [peterpp7] Question about future Analog to HD switch [In reply to] Can't Post

Tell your grandpa the HD signal has been switched, and he continously will enjoy the way he's receiving channels. The informations he's hearing is just a myth. he don't need to drill or change anything. if there's such thing as absolute, will have to be manufacturing of tube tv's. that's the real misconceptions.
