RCA 51"HDTV DLP Problem Can't Post

I have a 51 " RCA HDTV DLP model #HD50LPW1754X7 that I have no picture on, its seems I have sound and the TV starts up. The light on the front of the TV is blinking for a bulb replacement so I replaced the bulb with a new one. Well still don't have any picture??????? Please helpCrazy

Several things come to mind.

First, you may have a bad ballast, second, a bad optical engine (this is what actually turns on the ballast to light the lamp). You could also have a bad power supply where it's not feeding the 280volts (I think that's the voltage on the RCA's) to the ballast.
