I would still go LCD over Plasma no matter what! Plasma still has problems with burn-in, and don't believe the people that say they don't. I had a friend buy a big brand named plasma tv a few months ago. He had a huge NASCAR party to watch a race that same Sunday. After the race; he noticed that the "ticker", and station logo had burned into the screen. When he went to return it the next day; the store would not give him a full refund due to the damage.
DO NOT BUY PLASMA!!!!!!!
