Magnavox TV Shuts itself off...	Can't Post

Hi everyone,
My first post here. I have a problem with my Magnavox LCD TV/Monitor Model Number: 15MF050V/37
It shuts off after about 7 minutes now by itself. It has gotten to be shorter and shorter over time. I have a 12VDC 3Amp power supply running it, although it is not the origional one, it is what the TV sas it requires to run. I do not have the remote for it. I have no idea what is wrong with it, if anyone could help me that would be great.

Hey.
I've got the same problem with origonal power supply 12v 3A
Magnavox model no.:15MF050V/37
Ive noticed that if I leave the power disconected for a day then reconect it i can get a copple hours out of it, when its power is left connected I only get around 3 - 7 min. varrying. Ive tryed 1A, 1.5A, 2A, 3A, 4A amp all 12V power supplys, none stoped the shutting down.
It seems to be somthing possibly heating up that is powered up even when the unit is powered off, but im not sure.
I think theres always a way, even if MAGNACRAP says it cant be fixed.
Any help would be much apreciated,

Those sets are board replacement only IF the boards are available for them. You'd have to contact Philips on that. They've already discontinued the boards for some of the earlier LCD sets like yours.
