Poloroid TLX-04244B Can't Post

working on a Poloroid TLX-04244B, fires up and backlights stay on for about 1 second then goes off, picture is visible in a dark room with a flashlight, audio can be heard, channels change correctly, ive taken the back off to locate the inverters, theres a master and slave inverter.

http://www.tvpartsnow.com/product.php?id_product=2248 master

http://www.tvpartsnow.com/product.php?id_product=2249 slave

power supply looks fine, and the tv does stay on and operate normally, other then the backlights going out

im feeling that 1 or both inverters have gone out, should i just pick them both up or start with the master inverter and see what gives..

thank you in advance.

if one backlight is faulty then the micro will detect this and shut the whole lot down.check if all are lit first before you go changing inverter boards.

just got around to tearing down the lcd/backlight assembly, there are 18 bulbs 2 of those are dark in color and a third has a single dark area by one of the plastic supports mid screen.

the remaining bulbs are unblemished.

i have found these bulbs http://www.lcdparts.net/ccfldetail.aspx?ProductID=3669, its list for 42" and this is a 42" polaroid.

if these are not the bulbs could someone point me in the right direction.

thank you and have a great day.

I just got a ccfl checker off e-bay and you can tell in an instant if one of the backlights is not comming on without un hooking the plugs from the inverter board.
