Proscan 40LD45Q Back-lit but no picture

I have a Proscan 40LD45Q, the tv was doing some strange things when used with the PC input (horizontal line, fading to white, resetting itself etc.) after switching to HDMI for input from my computer, everything was fine for about 3 months. Now I have as far as I can tell no signal from any input source, I have backlight, although the tv just turns on when I plug it in, I have no OSD, the power button doesnt respond. I have opened the cabinet, I have seen no visible damage or loose connections.
If anyone has a idea of where I should start, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much!
