SONY LCD TV no picture, please help. Can't Post

Hi, I have got a SONY that got no picture. You can use the remote to turn the set on (the light goes from red to green) But there are no pictures. I have open the back cover and use a main tester to check the power. And it seem to be no power at either end of that fuse. (Please see picture, circle red). No capacitor seem to be popped. Where should I look? Many thanks!!!

You also have little in the way of identifiers.

Why should I provide/search through a list of ALL Sony TV Models ever made?
Why should I provide/search through a list of ALL Sony Power boards ever used?

What is a 'main tester'? ... A dampened finger? A neon bulb gizmo? A DVM? An analog meter? A computer based instrument that can test everything?

GYKR;....

1st off, I do not work on LED/LCD or Plasma TVs..
My experience with them is VERY limited as will be my advice to you...
That said...

The fuse you have circled is the mains AC fuse..
Unless you have the power cord plugged in ,(Which in the pix is NOT) , you will read nothing on that fuse..
IF you have the AC cord plugged in you should read AC volts on a DVM type meter from that fuse to one or the other pins on the white connector's pins..
One side of that fuse should go to the hot side of you AC line in...
The side of the connector that gives you the reading will give you an AC reading on BOTH sides of the fuse...
Based on what you said , the fuse should be OK...

Someone more qualified than I should be along soon to give you more qualified advice..

Good Luck..

Point taken.

Its a T370HW03 (V.3)

I just use a neon main tester to check to see if they got power going through them. Thanks!

Thank you Ron.M, Yes, it was plugged in and the powered up when I test the board. I just use a main tester to check if there are power on the circuit board. All the wires got power going through them but strange to find no power going through the fuse.

YES , you do because;=>..

IF that fuse was bad , the "light" would be off & STAY off...
You are most likely not using the "neon tester" the right way or it's not the right one for AC voltages..

Now that you posted a model number , perhaps that will bring jts1957 back to further advise you...

Good luck...

Why would I need a Panel number? That just means there WILL BE a '37' in the Sony Model Number.
