Sceptre 16 ms lcd computer monitor flashes please help! Can't Post

Hi I have this Sceptre 16ms p/n:x7g-komodo 2 monitor.

When you turn it on one of the back lights flashes on and off quickly. The power light does not light up at all.
I could not get it to do anything else!

Any repair suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks ! Jesse....

Capacitor possibly? Is there anything else it could be?

How can I check the secondary output of these transformers? What kind of voltage are we talking to power that small of a florescent?

back light voltages are high from the inverter.if the lamp is faulty they usually are built in as part of the screen on LCD.disconnect the leads from the inverter to the backlights to see if the unit will power up.if not then the fault is elsewhere, possibly power supply
