Sony KDF-42WE655 Flashing colors

My Sony has an occasional flashing of certain colors which is becoming more frequent. It originally was just red flashing once in a while. But now it's also blues and greens. An example would be watching a performer on a stage with a red curtain. Just the red curtain will be flashing sporadically. Is the bulb going or something more expensive? Thanks.
