VIZIO E470VA No Sound No Picture Only Logo

Hello. I have a 15 month old VIZIO E470VA tv that has no sound or picture. The logo on the front of the tv goes from on (always on) to bright signifying power up. After 15 seconds I can hear a buzzing noise coming form the back of the set and nothing no picture/sound. I opened the tv and powered it up. The backlight inverter has an led (blue) that pulses bright/dim and another led located above the inverter board (just under the bezel) that follows the same pattern. The heat sink in the center of the main board is making and audible buzzing/hissing noise. It will stay like that until I push power and the set goes off. I did lose power to my residence and when power came back the tv never turned on... Ebay has a lot of parts available for this model for a reasonable price. I was going to start with main board first. I don’t want to throw parts at it… Any help would be great. Thanks.
