driving 10 bit LVDS lcd with 8 bit LVDS tv board Can't Post

Hi experts,

My Sharp LC-37GX3W stopped to work, and according to the error code, something is wrong in the main board.
I decided to throw out the whole panel and install the universal (v59) tv board.
After searching in the internet I found this Sharp has a TCON board with dual channel 10 bit LVDS. (5 differential line + 1 synch line) /channel .
However the universal tv board has dual channel 8 bit LVDS interface.

My idea was, just simple connect the A-A, B-B, C-C, D-D, Synch-synch, and just leave open the "E" line in the TCON board.
Is it possible to make this setup work ?

Also, I would appreciate if anybody can tell me how to connect the R/L, U/D, MV_MODE,ROMSEL1,ROMSEL0, TEMP1, TEMP2, TEMP3, PE, OS_EN, SHIP_EN terminals of the Sharp TCON connector.

Thanks in advance,
