what do i do now? Can't Post

I have a 50 inch Emerson that my aunt and uncle gave me because they had a power surge and the tv wouldn't come back on. I have replaced the power supply and that at least gave me a glimmer of hope with the standby light on but still nothing. I then replaced the "main board" but still more of the same. I'm running out of ideas as to why it won't come on. When I push the power button a few seconds later you can see a split second flash of light on the screen but that is it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have also held the power button down for 10 sec to reset it but that did nothing for me.

User manual mentions Child Lock pin code & this:

• If a power failure occurs, unplug the AC power cord for 1 minute to allow
the unit to reset itself.

Who said to hold power button?
