Akai 4249G 42" Plasma PiP Question

I have recently purchased the above T.V. It is awsome! So far, my only outstanding question is to do with the Picture in Picture function. I can get the PiP to work, but what I cannot do (and do not even know if it is possible) is to get it to show 1 channel on the T.V. and a different channel on the PiP.
Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, how the heck do I get it to work like that?
I have emailed and phoned Akai direct, but so far...nada...no info yet.
