So, since the voltages do match, the number one suspect becomes the MAIN board. I also noticed when searching for replacements to the MAIN board that a lot of people (including Amazon) are selling MAIN board repair kits. https://www.amazon.com/...S1FXZA/dp/B012GW9Q7M According to the shopjimmy installation video for this kit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC4f2Ik8rCI), the large chip replacement is to cure issues with no audio. However those two smaller items are specific to the "clicking on and off" issue. So, I focused my handy hair dryer on that specific area and ... voila ... the TV fired up in less than a minute! Looking more closely at the area surrounding that specific area I noticed two black structures which appear to be melted and the structure closest to the edge is directly over that specific area. Here is a pic showing what they should look like on the left and what mine looks like on the right. https://drive.google.com/...dt72STnZOT1JKWU5pTUU My guess is that replacing those structures (and not the two small components under them) would solve everything. However, at this point, ordering a new board for $95 from eBay is probably the most efficient solution as any $20 repair kit would also warrant purchasing the tools (soldering iron, wick, heat gun, etc...) as well. So, to anyone out there, I hope this thread sheds some light on another potential solution. If you don't hear back from me, that means ordering a new MAIN board was the solution! p.s. what are those two black structures in my before/after pic?
