Help me choose Can't Post

Buying my first HDTV.

I will be buying from Costco because of the added warranty and cash card.

I have decided on Plasma. I think they have better picture quality than an LCD and now they are pretty close on energy usage. I will be choosing between Panasonic and Samsung. I was leaning heavily for a 65" Panny at $1999, but the price recently went up to $2499.

Help me choose

63" Samsung PN58B550 $1999
65" Panasonic TC-P65S14 $2499

It's a no brainer. Panasonic beats anything on the market

I would go for the samsung one. Its cheaper comparatively and the e-panel technology features FilterBright, which minimizes glare and reflections for optimal viewing at any time. All models in this line are ENERGY STAR compliant, meaning you will use less energy when watching TV resulting in money savings and helping the environment

Do the Panasonic and Samsung TV's you're looking at that the same specs? If they do I would get the Samsung. The price different isn't worth it and I've only had positive experiences with my Samsung Plasma TV.

Although everything is depend on your choice but I would like to assist you to choose Samsung one that has really better picture quality and more attraction on its screen. Apart of that it has very light weight and to watch Samsung LCD TV a gratifying experience.
