LG50PC3D Black screen with white flicker

My 50 inch LG tv has just started to lose picture and just white flicker on screen. Sound is OK. Was intermittent but now all the time. Any suggestions? From what I have been able to learn thinking the Y-SUS might be the culprit. Does that sound right?
