Netflix Ideal Streaming Speed

I am planning switching from RCN to Comcast. I have not used Netflix before.
What would be the ideal streaming speed. Comcast offers the following internet packages:
Economy Internet Service
Get download speeds up to 1.5 Mbps and uploads up to 384 Kbps.
Economy Plus
Get download speeds up to 3 Mbps and uploads up to 768 Kbps.
Performance Starter
Get download speeds up to 6 Mbps and upload speeds up to 1 Mbps.
