Hi,

I'm after buying a LG plasma from Currys, 42". I cant recall the model as I'm at work at the moment.

But I've noticed the left and right sides of the screens seem to be "stretching" the picture. This is the case

on all sources and all formats, ie widescreen and so on. It almost looks like the picture is being viewed through a

goldfish bowl or a circus mirror.

Any ideas?

Does it look like that when you choose letter box format? If you set your TV to display widescreen with traditional TV (non widescreen) formatting then your TV will stretch out the picture.
