PL4260N Replacement Main Board

I have a PL4260N which "sometimes" has green and magenta sparkly dots on certain colors sometimes. I think it is called a "MAL Discharge problem". Anyway I cant find shit online that talks about this problem nor a solution. What I want to do is replace the main board which has this model number below ending with 764A, however the only replacement I can find is below that ends with 672A.

Now the question is do you think a new main board will solve this problem and if so will one with a different ending model number work?
