So I attempted to fix a 5 year old tv that wouldn't work and had a 7 blink error. After I replaced 4 boards inside the tv I don't have the blink error anymore but I do have a loud buzzing noise coming from either the speakers and/or the power supply area. The screen also doesn't come on but tries to illuminate brief white flashes through the side that I don't notice unless the room is really dark.
What I am wondering is if this issue is related to then a cracked plasma screen? Could the cracked screen be the main issue then? I am a bit of a newbie with tv repair.
If it's the screen It's provably beyond repair.
