Hello,
I have a PLASMA TV SAMSUNG 50" Model PS50Q7HX/XST from 2007.
When watching a program, FOXTEL or DVD, the picture suddenly disappears but I still have the sound. Switching from FOXTEL to DVD or from DVD to FOXTEL, there is no change, still no picture but the sound is OK. This is intermittent: I can watch the TV during 2 /3 days and then the problem is back. In addition of getting the screen black (not all the times) I have the screen white with small vertical lines color green/red mixed flashing then the black screen....after 2/3min the picture is back for 5/10min and then flashing again. Few times also, the picture is not coming back and I need to switch ON/OFF 5/6 times and then OK but after 5/10min the picture disappers again.
I read an e-mail posted on this forum on 1 APR (same kind of TV Plasma) and it seems the problem was the Upper Buffer. What's it?....Is it the same problem?.....I'm not a specialist, How can I check?...and Is it easy to replace the Upper Buffer if this component is confirmed faulty.
