Samsung HP-T5034 Power but no picture	Can't Post

I picked up a Samsung HP-T5034 50". When you push the power button it chimes and the blue around the button lights up but there is nothing on the screen. It stays black. Does anyone have a clue what the problem may be? Please reply if you have any thoughts on what the problem might be.

These TVs are common for the buffer boards to go bad. If you disconnect & remove one at a time you can see if half of your picture returns. The buffer boards are the 2 long narrow boards to the left of the TV when looking in from the back. There is an upper & lower buffer board.
