Samsung Plasma TV Black Horizontal Line Can't Post
Hey guys since about a month ago I saw a black horizontal line going across the screen I bought the tv in 2010 and of course something would happen 1 year after warranty ends.

You guys probobaly wondering why I haven't called samsung well im pretty sure they will charge me a lot for whatever is causing this...

I saw few posts videos on how some people fixed by dissasembling the tv this is not for me -_-

In your case , call a reputable , honest & reasonable TV shop to give you an estimate & go from there...
Grab your wallet with BOTH hands & hold on TIGHT as Plasma TVs are NOT cheap to fix...
You might want to reconsider calling Samsung...
There could be a defect that they could help you out on..
A manufactured defect...

On 99.999999% of repairs on LCD/LED or Plasma TVs , you have to disassemble them to fix them....
There is NO magic bullet for these type of TVs...

I've found that any projectile from the size of a "BB" on up works quite well. (A Howitzer IS recommended for the smallest / least pieces to dispose of.Wink

You either have loose ribbon connector to the panel, or a bad panel. The only way you will know for sure is to take the back off the set and reseat the ribbon that is in the same place as your black line. Set being unplugged of course.
