Shipping a Plasma TV? Can't Post

I've been looking at Panasonic's P65S1. Best Buy carries them, but compared to other vendors online, their price is by far the highest. Is it safe to have Plasma TVs shipped to you via UPS? Aren't Plasma TV's supposed to be kept upright? Anyone who knows the abusive shipping practices of couriers like UPS will know that any package shipped with be thrown, dropped, and be and land anyway but upright.

I'd appreciate your input on the shipping and also the P65S1.

Thanks! Adam

UPS NO! UPS policy from the waist down, they have the rights to drop the box necessarily if they have to. Meaning, they rely the strength of the packaging. All they care is to shipped the package to you on time as promised.........Talk to best buy not us. Vendors on line should be cheaper and only use private trucking company. In the event that you go along with best buy then You should check the unit, try it on before signing the bill. DON'T FORGET THAT. you loose everything if you failed to do so......
