samsung (s5ofh-yb10) clicking sound please help

I am a newbie on here. I recently got a samsung plasma tv for free. I wanted to fix it and give it to my inlaws since they have not had a tv for months and can't afford to buy 1. This tv will make the clicking sound when plugged in and thats it. I took back panel off did the process of elimination of boards and it will not make the clicking sound untill all the boards are hooked up. It sounds like the clicking is coming from main power supply in the long heat sink. .Could this be a bad buffer? Any help would be greatly appreciated and my inlaws would be happy to get a tv.
