sparklies on LG V6 series -how to get rid of them Can't Post

I'm struggling here to get a result. I've got 3 LG RZ42PX11 plasmas. All have had various pcb failures but are now up and running. One problem they all still have is sparklies- under/over diffusion.

All voltages have been set as per screen labels.

From reading as much about the problem as I could find the only way to cure is to download latest firmware into the control board.

Can anyone loan or sell the jig for doing this?

Any suggestions welecome.

Cornboats;....

I'm sure that you have seen me say this before , but in case it didn't stick;...
I do not work on LED/LCD or Plasma TVs...
I'm not convinced that a firmware update will help , IF it's available...
Perhaps 74f100 or ??? , will come along & give you some of his expertise...

My advice will be severely limited...

Your model number seems to be missing some info & there are variations.....
I did manage to find a Plasma TV with a similar model number...

User manual here;=>...
http://www.manualowl.com/...PX11/Download/244461

There's nothing in the manual that allows for updateing...
So that model may not be updateable....Unsure...

Try here for possible update info...
It's LG Support USA home page...
http://www.lg.com/...pport/product-search
Could not find your model there either...
Enter the EXACT model number...

Good Luck....

PS:...
A pix may help....Just a thought...

Hi Ron
Good of you to take the time to reply.
I'll have a look at your links.
I don't think a photo will show up the problem - screen will just show a poor quality picture.

model number is RZ42PX11 - Nothing comes up on LG site , perhaps it was only manufactured in Europe.

Cornboats;.....

Sorry , bad news....Unsure...

Quote
perhaps it was only manufactured in Europe.

Looks that way.....
I don't see where a letter (RZ vs RU ) would make a difference in product firmware update capability....

However;....
LG Support UK:=>....
http://www.lg.com/uk/support

RZ-42PX11 IS listed on the site...
You have to hunt for it....
There is NO firmware for that model listed...
Just a user manual....

User Manual;=>......

http://safemanuals.com/...nual/LG/RZ-42PX11-_E

Even tho when you downlpad the manual , the cover page does not have your model number on it , it iS for your TV...

So where ever you got the info that there is a firmware update , they're WRONG !!!!...

Have a GREAT evening....Sly.....

Ok well thanks for taking the trouble to reply anyway.
I've just lost -VY voltage on Y-sus board. as if the sparklies wasn't enough of a problem.
