Christucky;..... EXCELLENT pix...THANKS !!!!... Could not see a crack in the pix of the splitter... Not to worry , you've already replaced it... Also not sure how to get the HV wire off of the lamp. When you find a replacement , I'll tell you how it's done.... (It's easy , but , you need to be careful)... That's what the single edged razor blade & the silicone compound is for... Also , I see you will need a soldering iron & some solder for the splitter connector... I was going to replace the lamp, so i attempted to take it out (not knowing that there was liquid (ethylene glycol right??). will have to get some and replace it. Replaceing the CRT is far more costly & involved with care & adjustments you may have problems with... NO offense... Ethelyne Glycol IS highly toxic... It also is VERY CORROSIVE to electronic parts & circuitry... IF you spilled ANY of it on the board(s) or the parts ON the CRT , you WILL have future problems... jts1957 has an off-the-wall sense of humor that sometimes makes no sense... Best to take him with a grain of salt , then disolve it... The other posters are jerks that should be banned... Just ignore them... Their demise is coming... I don't have any experience or training for LED/LCD or Plasma TVs , so I can not help you with that set....Sorry...... Later...Ron.M....... Veteran & Retired TV technician
