Help with Hitachi 53SDX89B	Can't Post

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I'm having with my 53' Hitachi Ultravision 53SDX89B projection tv.

The picture and sound work perfect, with no convergence issues, but the tv will randomly cut off the picture. The power and sound remain on but the picture will disappear and the red "protection LED" on the board will start blinking

If i turn off or unplug the tv for about 5 minutes everything goes back to normal

Any help, suggestions or tips would be appreciated

Get a smaller TV. 53 feet is too big.

(I'm assuming YOU are in CONTROL of your keyboard.)

You are absolutely correct and I thank you for your insight. Starting tomorrow my life is going to change.

First thing to do is hire a helicopter to get that 53 foot piece of junk out of my backyard. With that gone the family and I will finally have enough room to have thoughtful discussions on free will vs determinism
