How to watch basic TV? Can't Post
Hi, so me and the gf and the dog were outside and came across a tv and tuner with a piece of paper taped to the TV mentioning that it's free. So we took it. It's a projection/crt or something, the older typical TV types.
She doesn't have a cable service here, but she does have an outlet for TV. How do we go about watching basic TV on it? Get a coaxial and plug that in or is a digital to analog converter box required? I'm unsure of just what to do to get the tv to show basic tv in her apartment. Thanks

Outside rooftop antenna to INPUT of DTV BOX. Next you have a choice of coax from OUTPUT of DTV box to an antenna INPUT on the TV....or you could connect AUDIO/VIDEO RCA connectors on the DTV box to a AUDIO/VIDEO INPUT on the TV.
Turn everything ON. If connected via RCA turn TV to matching INPUT, if connected via coax, tune TV to channel 3 (or 4). Most DTV boxes have on screen instructions you follow from this point.

ALL the above presumes it's a working TV with a working ORIGINAL remote.
