Philips 50PP920217 Blue screen blinking	Can't Post

Hi guys,

My two y.o Philips rear-projection TV is starting to have problems. The screen keep on blinking blue when it's on the AV channels ie. AV4 that I hooked to my DVD Player. The screen keeps on blinking/flashing even during DVD play. What exactly could be causing this problem?

Sounds like bad solder connections on the input jacks. If you lose signal that is what happens. If you are not somewhat gentle in your pluging and unplugging of those connectors they can crack or even pull the ground connector off. Monster cables do this the most. Twist them when installing or removing, this will alleviate a lot of problems.
