I have a very weird convergence problem with my philips projector tv. the convergence is off but before you say replace IC Convergence chips, hear me out....
The red and blue are just fine and can be adjusted in all directions. The Green is what is messed up. the green is twisted or warped but after an hour or so of being on it all of a sudden just "kicks in" and the convergence is PERFECT. what would cause this tv shops cant figure it out. Tube tested good also.

here is a pic of the video and a pic of the convergence multipoint note the green is warped on bottom left. also green shakes

Check the resistors around your convergence circut. A week one can cause this until it heats up.

I would say don't count out the convergence IC's yet, They could be Intermittent.

I had the same if not simular problem you are saying but with my Samsung HCL4715W, That was warped and shakes and after some time running it, it work fix it self, but mine was the top and button left side.

This how i figured it was Intermittent the IC's.
With back on till it fixed itself, then take back off once it fixed it self. I used a fan to blow on the IC heat sink and it would mess up again, And I let it heat up and it fixed itself again then cool it down again and it messed up again.

You could give that a try and see if it acts like mines did, Make sure you try to get most air on IC Heat sink so you don't cool something else down and make it look like it was the IC's when it could of been some other part.

If it acts like mine most likely it could be the IC's.
