Pioneer sd-p6081 video circuit board?????

The picture went out on my 60 inch. The sound still works. The menu, volume, and channel screens still appear but no video picture. The tv repair shop told me that the "video circuit board" need to be replaced and it would be about $450 to perform the fix. Is this a repair that me, a novice could make? Would it be worth it because the tv is almost 10 years old? Any help would be great!
