Problem with my LCD TV	Can't Post

I have an EMERSON LC320EM8 32'' LCD TV. It powers on and then immediately powers down, regardless of whether I use the power button on TV or on the remote. I have placed a key controller board that I can get in around $17. Am I going at right direction with this part?

You have a serious problem distinguishing LCD from PLASMA and vica versa. Crazy
