First,let me say hello to everyone After years of servicing direct view sets,I finally got a projection unit on the bench. As mentioned it's a ctc169, and the original symptom was a flashing raster. After going over it with a fine tooth comb, I've narrowed it down to the blue convergence yoke,if I unplug it,the raster stays on solid. I guess my question is, should I be looking specifically at the yoke of something tied to it? Thanks ever so much!
