Hi...First post been lurking a little.
Had a convergance problem, I replaced the convergance board like was suggested and it fixed the picture except it's slightly blurry and looks to bend away from the viewer. Leaving a curved band of nothing at the top and bottom of the set.
Spent a lot of time lining up the +'s but did not use the service menu (mute __ __ __).
When I try perfect focus it says no sensor data.
I got this set for free so I don't know it's history. It is watchable but I'm hoping to get it better.a

Any help would be appreciated.

when you set up the convergence you must start with the centre line lined up with the notches in the plastic screen surround,otherwise the auto sensor will not work

Holy schnizzel I never even noticed the notches...thank you I will try it.

BTW I realize I should have posted this in the repair forum...sorry.
