Sony KP-53V15 - Need help, please

I have a 1994 Sony KP-53V15 Rear Projection 52" TV. The picture is "warped" at the top, bottom, left, and right. All bows toward center. Can't get good convregence because of this. My convergence controls do work on the remote. Could the screen be warped from heat? If so, can I get another and where? Also, I don't have the original remote. How do I get the closed captioning off my screen? Thanks.
