Sony Model KDL-52XBR4 no picture Can't Post
A friend of my has the tv and called and said he has lost the picture but the green light where it says lamp on the front of the tv is blinking. I had him unplug the tv for about 2-3 minutes and plug it back in. He did that but still no picture. Is the lamp bad and if so can someone give me the replacement lamp number and also a guide or video tutorial on how to replace it, Thanks for your help.

CCFL backlit LCD TFT panel. Therefore NO 'lamp.'
Further, the set HAS NO LAMP LED.

As it DOES have self diagnostics - Which lamp, what color and how many blinks?

"the unit will shut down and display a diagnostics indication. The standby LED will flash red in a set number of frequencies, depending on what was detected. The flashes occur at one-second intervals followed by a 3 second separation interval of no flashes."

So there is no lamp in this tv. When we know what the blinking lights show us. How do we find the codes based on what the blinking lights reveal
