Sony Projection lamp lcd hd 55" Tv replacement	Can't Post

Hi Guys,
I need help in here. I have a Sony 55” Model KDF-55E2000 hd lcd tv. Recently it shows the projection lamp replacement sign. I checked on at the website the projection lamp cost about $114.00 each. Now I want to find out this tv have many projection lamp in there? 1 or 3? Is that hard to replace? If anyone know about it please tell me.

Thank you for your help bud! From what I know they are two different type. One is without the housing and the other one is with the housing. If I buy without housing, is that easy to replace the bulb? Please advice.

Most bulbs two connections/wires.
Make a drawing/take a photo, if necessary, to remember which wire goes where.
Wear cloth/plastic gloves (no oils from you skin on bulb).
Do stick with dealer who will stand behind defective bulb. Cool

In response to your PM. You DID do: Item 10, Page 78 of owner's manual? MENU > Settings > Setup menu Wink

"After the lamp is replaced, select the "Lamp Replacement" option then select "Start" in the Setup menu.""
