Sony convergence issue Can't Post

Hello everyone! New here but not new to to the whole forum spill. Anyhow, I'm working on our old Sony KP-53S35. I know it has a convergence issue but need your opinion and expertise. I pulled the board out but do not know how to disconnect the power wires so I can take the board home with me (at parents out of town). When I pulled the board out I notice an area on the board that looks burned. I am not familiar with electronic terminology so y'all will have to help me. Would the burned? parts be the cause of the convergence issues? Our tv was repaired a long time but the issue has occurred and we stopped using it. Now I want it to get working again.

The power wires are the ones in red and attached to the board in the far left.

Here's the IC DOODADS:

Here's the burned portion:

The 1M1714 thing appears broken:

Backside of burned portion:

The picture is bowed with the center in alignment but goes out of alignment away from center. How the picture looks from the inside:

What parts and where can I get the parts to get the the working again?

Looks more like a spill.
Take some rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip (NOT used) &/ or a used toothbrush and see if that makes a visible difference. Will be easier to read part locations.

Those are HV and focus/screen wires and how to remove them is shown in the service manual Pg 25: http://elektrotanya.com/...sm.pdf/download.html

Convergence ICs are IC809 & IC810 STK392-110. Replace both at same time. Use Genuine Sanyo parts. Use fresh heat sink compound. Also: check the bias resistors.

MCM Electronics, Ebay if you feel daring.

Spilled material may have eaten through its leads.Frown

So it was made the 14th week of 1997 ... showing other side will give ratings.
