Sony projection screen tv problem Can't Post

This television when it turns on at first produces decent video and then after a few minutes starts to get an orange haze ovelaying the video that you can see the video in but with the orange haze evenly overlaying makes it a dull picture. Then in the course of around 20 minutes it gets worse and the orange gets darker and darker untill it actually gets to the point where it gets so evenly dark orange redish that its all thats in the screen its blocked out all video all you here is sound. Tv forums always is where I go to get advice when I want to fix something so I'm ready for some ideas thanks in advance. Its a 2002 model 51 inch sony projection tv.

Which one would it be maybe the red one or could it be any of them? And then if a guy finds out which one couldn't a guy find a rebuilt and send back the bad one as I recall there use to be guys doing that, really how much I don't know but I'm not ready to adandone the idea just yet.

Hi Guys, What I have, is after 3 minutes the picture begins to turn red. The picture would get so red that you can not make out the video. Sound is ok. I checked for bad solder connections but found none.

And...

Thanks for your time guys. I called Sony and found out that they were indeed having problems with their picture tubes and the work must be performed by a ASC.

Bad idea then. Still a bad idea now.Cool
