Toshiba 65HX81 Horizontal Size Can't Post
Hello,
Over the years the horizontal size of my screen has 'grown'. Convergence is okay but the picture is to the point were the news tickers are only half viewable and things like Football score data on the top of the screen is almost off screen.

Is there some kind of adjustment for this?

VERTICAL size or height.

Most likely one (or more) electrolytic capacitor(s) are starting to dry out. Will only continue over time.
You "could" keep adjusting the size again and again OR you could locate and replace the defective electrolytic capacitor(s) and NOT have to make ANY adjustment at all.Wink

got it.. The TV is about 9 years old so I am Looking at getting a new Sony Bravia XBR. I think I'll just adjust it. Is there a POT to adjust?? If so, do you know where and how to get to it?

65HX81 is the same as 65H81 except for the parts tabled on back of this sheet. Use this service manual together with the service manual of 65H81 (File No. 020-200113).

This Toshiba 65HX81 Service Manual covers the following topics: replacement parts list differences.
