Toshiba 65HX93 color problem

Toshiba 65HX93 color problem	Can't Post

I just got this tv yesterday to replace my 1998 Magnavox 55" 6p5540w103. the problem is the picture is not near as crisp as my old set, seems washed out. i have tried convergence, manaually adjusting and making sure the lens' are clean. Is this tv just not as good as my old one. did I make a bum purchase?

Sure you've got the right model posted? Only two hits on Google, and neither about a TV. Unsure

How crisp is the individual color pictures when you carefully look directly into face of each CRT? Cool

it seems crisp in fact the focus is much better than the old 55" but the colors are very muted whereas the old tv was vibrant.
