ok ive read a ton of post.and decided its the convergence thats off,its looks like 1 of the colors has a shadow (not aligned) with a horse shoe u at the bottom and top of the screen..when i try to adjust it whith the remote i see a red x a blue x,but the other color.isnt a x,its off set,at all spots except for the middle right,and the middle left..
I know nothing about tvs,but and pretty handy with electronics,ect..as i understand,each bulb (gun?) has its own ic board?ive seen all these guys talking about the STK4279 part,but mine only shows a Description: CONVERGENCE ASSY Part Number: AWZ6071for 341.77,im hoping this isnt the part,lol am i even on the right track here,or should i quit while im ahead and break down and call a repair man?
