I have a '94 JC Penney 25" TV, model # 1048. Just this last week I was watching the tv when all of a sudden I hear this loud pop. Now I am seeing dark characters and a light blue set ( background). I have been told that I lost the picture tube. Is this true or could it be just a transister that has blown? I would like some other opinions before I try to take it in for repair.
