FSP194-3F01 Power Supply for Protron/Spectroniq PLTV-3250 Can't Post

Simple answer probably but proven difficult to find. On this FSP194-3F01 power supply the secondary 5v pins at CNS1 show 5Vs GND and 0/F. What is 0/F ?

It runs over to the main board but no label there. I was thinking it might be the voltage to turn on the 16v and 24v side. I have 4.3vdc on the 5v pins and No voltage present on 0/F

Power supply provides Main board with standby voltage. Main board (microprocessor) receives inputs from the front panel buttons and the remote sensor. When a command to turn on
(from either) is processed, Main board then sends power supply a turn on voltage.

Monitor that pin's DC voltage from the time you plug the set in until you press 'power.' If it never changes (and you HAVE standby voltage), Main is likely bad.

Summary: I originally had no out put voltage at 5v secondary. Replaced failing caps and after replacing Q7 with an NPN 2N2222 my voltage came up at 5v pin but was fluctuating and dropped off almost a volt with the load attached. Removed Zener ZD4 from the circuit and 5v became solid and TV became operational. Smile
