Thank you for any help you can offer!

I've got a 46" Flat Screen Toshiba that has a glitching screen. I have included a short clip on YouTube showing what the problem looks like. Anyone have any idea what might be wrong with the unit?

Planned obsolescence.

I presume it DID last for the advertised warranty?

Yessir. It has aged past its warranty.

To be clear, the problem with the tv is by design (somewhat) and it would cost too much to fix considering the cost of the new unit?
